Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of experience for HVAC Service/Repair Technicians.
Knowledge of operation, maintenance, installation and repair of HVAC equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively & respond to questions & requests from team, customers & others.
Effective written communication skills using appropriate business English.
Effective customer service skills.
Demonstrated customer service, problem solving & common-sense skills.

Typical Duties

Service Technician performs maintenance & service repairs on heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems & other designated equipment.
Must have experience & knowledge in service, installation, troubleshooting & repair of HVAC equipment (residential & light commercial) while working with minimal supervision.
Identify, analyze, diagnose & report on HVAC equipment condition & make recommendations on operational repair, replacement or upgrade.
Test electrical circuits or components form continuity, using electrical test equipment.
Repair or replace defective equipment, components or wiring
Repair or service heating & air conditioning systems to improve efficiency.

Certificates Required

Typical Duties

Must have experience & knowledge in installation of Sheet-Metal & HVAC equipment.
Installs new units or replacement units according to specifications & safety guidelines.
Ability to communicate effectively & respond to questions & requests from team, customers and others.
Effective customer service skills.
